Angie Simmons

Angie has worked in New Zealand with school leaders over the last four years at Cognition Education  to enhance student achievement through future focused learning initiatives.
She led the Educational Technologies Diploma programme at Unitec to provide teachers with and was instrumental in setting up e-learning  papers at Masters level. Angie has owned and managed a large early learning centre and is an experienced primary school teacher with experience also teaching NCEA (Secondary School level) at the Northern Health School.
As a professional educator Angie has a strength in building relationships and leadership expertise.
Angie has had 28 books published with a focus on 21st century learning. These include Assessment for Learning, Key Competencies Book one and two, a series of Learning Journeys in ICT and a series of Jump into Reading books. Her latest book is the first of the Digital Fluency series - Digital Fluency - Innovative Learning.  
Angie is available for professional development in the education sector.
